I got an iPod for Christmas of 2004, some where along the line… I fell in love with it.. Much of today’s music sucks and I struggle to find stuff I like and since lawyers rule the world and we all know that music sharing is the biggest crime on the planet; I thought I would share my ipod via lyrics. Every so often I will include a song from my ipod and maybe you will find a song or music that interests you because I know I struggle to find new music.

How do I chose a song? My Ipod is on shuffle and the first song it plays gets featured.

This is a great acoustic folk tune from the 80’s.

song: Circle

artist: Edie Brickell

album:Shooting Rubberbands At The Stars

Random Fact: The band’s song “Circle” appeared on an episode of Cold Case and Ugly Betty, and in 2013, it was covered by the pop punk band Bowling for Soup on the album Lunch. Drunk. Love..

Circle — Edie Brickell 1988

Me, I’m a part of your circle of friends
and we notice you don’t come around
Me, I think it all depends
on you touching ground with us.
But, I quit. I give up.
Nothing’s good enough for anybody else
it seems.
And I quit. I give up.
Nothing’s good enough for anybody else
it seems.

And being alone
is the best way to be.
When I’m by myself it’s
the best way to be.
When I’m all alone it’s
the best way to be.
When I’m by myself
nobody else can say goodbye.

Everything is temporary anyway.
When the streets are wet —
the color slip into the sky.
But I don’t know why that means you and I are
– that means you and….
I quit — I give up.
Nothin’s good enough for anybody else it seems.
But I quit. I give up.
Nothing’s good enough for anybody else it seems.

And being alone
is the best way to be.
When I’m by myself it’s
the best way to be.
When I’m all alone it’s
the best way to be.
When I’m by myself
nobody else can say…

Me, I’m a part of your circle of friends
and we notice you don’t come around.
