I have not seen the Pianist, Paradise Road, or Gallipoli

I don't consider Schindler's List as a war movie per say. Braveheart didn't come to mind but is still one of my favorite movies. Pearl Harbor was too cheesy for me. Ben Afleck hasn't been in a good movie since Good Will Hunting.

I forgot about Memphis Belle. I also like a Bridge To Far.

Great Choice
I loved your Top 10 War Movies list. I have seen all but "Apocalypse Now". We own several and are looking to own Band of Brothers at some point soon. I watch "Saving Private Ryan" and "Black Hawk Down" over and over when running on the treadmill along with "The Pianist," "Schindler's List" and "Paradise Road." Did you ever see "Saints and Soldiers"? I thought it wasn't bad for a small Utah budget. And have you ever seen Gallipoli? I thought it was also very good. What about "Braveheart"? I don't care much for Mel Gibson's posterior, but I thought it was also a compelling story. What did you think of "Pearl Harbor"? I thought it was pretty good but some of the dialogue was painfully cheesy. I also liked "Letters from Iwo Jima" ("Iwo Jima Kara No Tegami") much better than "Flags of our Fathers." And how about "A Bridge Too Far"? Have you ever seen "Memphis Belle"? That's a great one, too. OK. Sorry to inundate you with questions. I just really like war movies so your post got me thinking. What others make the finals but not your ultimate Top-10 cut? I'd love to know!

Take care,
Name Removed to Protect My Innocence
