I have long preached and griped about horrible parenting… but in all honesty I am the horrible parent. Hi! My name is… and I am a horrible parent. I’m impatient. I’m irritable and short tempered, I yell, I swear and often times too irreverent. I sometimes spank but rarely. I don’t share well with others and often sound like a PG-13 version of my parents.
I have a 2 year old that doesn’t play well with others despite her parents best effort, not social unless someone else has her desired toy, not potty trained and when she says her prayers refuses to say Jesus and too many times uses words she shouldn’t know. As horrible parents, we eat out…and often in front of the magic box, a lot. However I felt vindicated when Hanna told me about while getting dinner at Taco Bell; She was followed into Taco Bell by a more “righteous” family in the ward. Its nice to see other horrible parents.
