If you go to Cascade Springs off the Alpine Loop you will find a trail that heads south, Little Deer Creek Road. This is that trail. It used to go along the creek into the Provo Canyon but rich people (Nu Skin founder) has purchased and fenced off a lot of it and now the trail skirts his property removing a fun place to jeep and camp.
