Every time I turn around I see revolting behavior from our elected leaders. The latest piece of trash is Senator Barbara Boxer’s despicable actions towards a General in a hearing on Katrina.

Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, was testifying on the Louisiana coastal restoration process in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. He began to answer one of Boxer’s questions with “ma’am” when Boxer immediately cut him off.

“You know, do me a favor,” an irritated Boxer said. “Could say ‘senator’ instead of ‘ma’am?'”

“Yes, ma’am,” Walsh interjected.

“It’s just a thing, I worked so hard to get that title, so I’d appreciate it, yes, thank you,” she said.

“Yes, senator,” he responded.

Boxer failed to understand the basic military protocol in addressing a ranking position.

Seems like BARBIE’S got a real PROM-QUEEN complex.

She didn’t “EARN” anything. She “WON” a popularity contest. That’s hardly the equivalent of facing an armed enemy in toe-to-toe combat in a fight to the death, and being recognized by your peers for your valor. That’s how General Walsh EARNED his title.

BARBIE … YOU’RE A FLAKY DITZ! GO AWAY!

I thought this was a good way to sum up the scene.

“We would call them ‘sir’ or ‘ma’am’ or ‘senator such-and-such’,” Army spokesman Lt. Col. Nathan Banks said. Banks said any of those terms would be “appropriate” when addressing a senator.

According to one guide, the Navy and Coast Guard typically use “mister” or “miss” to address officers below the rank of commander, and “sir” or “ma’am,” or a specific title, to address anyone at that rank or higher.

“You can never go wrong by using ‘Sir’ or ‘Ma’am,’ but it is a nice touch if you can properly address a senior officer,” says the guide, Military Protocol: Uniformed Services.  Fox News

In a piece of irony… it appears that Faith in the Military is the only area gaining ground.

Bottomline is Barbara Boxer is an unhappy woman.  There is no length she will not go to in order to make others miserable. She makes Nancy Pelosi seem like an amatuer biotch.

So what type of nut job is Boxer… Making a Mockery gives her an extreme nut.
