It seems cliche to list reason that one is thankful. Â Its probably something I don’t think about enough but something I do think about quite often. Â Reasons to be thankful.
1. I am thankful for my family including Zack. Â Family is the backbone of life. Without family one is nothing. Having a good family is a great joy.
2. I am thankful for Jesus Christ. Â In a world that ceases to believe in God, religion or redemption, I enjoy a good strong testimony of Christ and his power in our lives. Times are only going to get worse and God will be forgotten. I am glad to have my anchor to guide me in rough times.
3. Job… While I love to mock my job I am grateful that I have a job. Â I know several that don’t have jobs and the stress it puts upon individuals and families. My job affords me a good life. I also enjoy my coworkers even if they are a rambucious group. They are good men and women who are loyal and hard working. I consider them friends and not coworkers.Â
4. Parents… In the last few years I have learned to appreciate my parents more. I miss them terribly and wish they were closer. Â Maybe all those lessons are finally paying off.Â
5. Freedom… I love my country and its freedoms. Â The founding fathers were everyday men of god who wrote the greatest government doctrine in the world. Praise it, honor it and live it. Â
These are just a few things that I am thankful for on this day.
