Memorial Day weekend is famous for what? Of course the Indianapolis 500. Its the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 and naturally our thoughts turn to what else fast cars, the latest automotive tech, and world-record truck jumping? You’re kidding right?


Today at the brickyard, stunt driver and Top Gear (American Version) star Tanner Foust warmed up the crowd by setting a new jumping distance world record for a 4-wheeled vehicle.

Driving down a huge ramp designed look like a Hot Wheels (Nice Marketing)  track as part of a “Fearless at the 500″ promotion, Foust picked up enough speed to launch his specially modified “Pro 2″ truck a world-record 332 feet beating the old record by 31 feet.
