I think that Napster is a great way to fight back against record companies and people making tons of money off of the music listening public. I think that the music industry charges way to much for everything. Cd's and concert prices have priced out a lot of the general public. Who can spend $50 or more a show to see their favorite bands after paying $15 for a cd. The prices of cd's has never gone down or have they been reasonable. Concert prices have gotten way out of control. I remember when most tickets were $12-$20. Back then I could easily afford to go and see any band that came to town. I think that because the music industry is a monopoly the public is getting screwed. I do not support stealing. I do think that the music industry should make it cheaper and easier to obtain both recorded music and sheet music.
