I personally think most celebrities are egomaniacs that think what they think or say really matters. I am often at a loss for words when these “people” are quoted in the news. Recently a new jackass has appeared on the entertainment horizon, his name Heath Ledger. What makes you any more important than anyone else?

Ledger recently bashed Utah, Mormons and West Virginia.

“Personally, I don’t think the movie is [controversial] but I think maybe the Mormons in Utah do. I think it’s hilarious and very immature of a society,” Ledger said, reports the Australian paper The Herald Sun.

Ledger also took a swipe at West Virginia, and displayed a dubious grasp of American history. “I heard a while ago that West Virginia was going to ban it but that’s a state that was lynching people only 25 years ago so that’s to be expected,” he was quoted as saying.

I just wish people like Heath “Jackass” Ledger would just shut the hell up. Having moral beliefs and exercising your right, as a businessman to serve your cliental or your beliefs is your God given right.
